What is the processing time for a Schengen Visa?
If you put up all relevant documents as per the requirement it is likely , you will get your passport stamped on third day post applying. I filed my application through VFS Mumbai on 22.02.2019 (23/24 feb - weekend ) on 25.2.19 it was sent to German consulate /Embassy and on 27.2.19 I got call from VFS Mumbai to collect my passport ( i opted for personal collection during application submission) I opened the envelope and found documents which probably not required by embassy , and my passport having Schengen -Germany- Type C -short stay business visa stamped. I was expecting it would take atleast a week or so but it was super quick Please note : My entire expenditure is sponsored by my employer also this visa granted on my fresh passport.
