How should I write a cover letter for a Schengen visa application for?
Below is the cover letter format we used to get our Schengen Visa to Italy, last month. Dear Sir/Madam, My name is (Your name), (Passport Number: , DOB: ) and I would like to apply for a Schengen visa upon my intention to travel to Italy from (Date) to (Date). I would be travelling with my wife, (Name) (Passport Number:, DOB: ) The purpose of my travel is purely tourism. To sightsee different places in Italy, meeting new people and mostly exploring. I think this duration of my visit to Italy is enough to see the actual magnificence of Italy. Im employed at (Employer) as (Occupation) since(Date). My employer has granted my leave for the above mentioned dates. I shall be back at work on (DAte), to complete my employment. As a married couple we intend to share the costs of the travel together, and with this letter we have attached our bank statements as well. Our flight tickets and accommodations are booked accordingly. In support of my visa application, attached herewith are the following documents.
