Have Schengen visa applications started for Indians?
If you mean tourist visas for Schengen countries, then the answer is no. Non-essential travel into the EU is not allowed from most countries. Only student visas, work visas etc are being processed. There is a lot of restrictions for internal travel within the Schengen zone let alone from outside. As far as I know, Greece is the one Schengen country which has announced plans to open tourism for outside the EU for vaccinated people (and maybe for those with covid negative certificate and also vivid antibodies certificate) from end of May and are in the process of developing SOPs. There are a lot of talks regarding reopening as economy is taking a massive hit, especially for southern European countries for whom tourism is a significant part. So expect other countries to make announcements too. But so far, only plans have been announced. No proper process or dates have been announced.
